It’s amazing to think how much home sales and the means in which buyers purchase homes have changed.

Long before the internet made it easy to search for properties online and for buyers to connect with Realtors, Sears Roebuck & Co. offered complete home packages through the Sears catalog.

Between 1908 and 1940 the company sold 75,000 DIY home kits with floor plans like the one below.
